AGNIESZKA GROCHOWSKA
Polish actress Agnieszka Grochowska is acknowledged as one of the finest actresses of her generation. Some of her most prominent roles include: ‘Klara Keller’ in the Oscar-winner IN DARKNESS; ‘Danuta Walesa’ in WALESA: MAN OF HOPE; ‘Nina Andreeva’ in CHILD 44, which was directed by Daniel Espinosa; OBCE NIEBO; and as ‘Nina’ in BEYOND THE STEPPES, directed by Vanja d'Alcantara. Agnieszka won several Best Actress awards for her portrayal of ‘Maria’ in UPPERDOG, and she played ‘Ileana’ in THE HOPE ROOMS, starring Andrew Scott and Ciaran Hinds. She played Elle Fanning’s mother in Max Minghella’s debut feature film, TEEN SPIRIT, which premiered at Toronto International Film Festival.
