ERIK ENGE

 

Erik is a Swedish actor, who is based in Stockholm. His extraordinarily complex and nuanced leading performance in the feature film TIGERS by writer and director Ronnie Sandahl, has garnered him widespread critical acclaim - including a Rising Star Award for Erik at the Rome Film Festival, and the Best Actor Award at Göteborg Film Festival. The film is based on Swedish footballer-turned author Martin Bengtsson’s autobiography, In the Shadow of San Siro, which details his journey and experiences through the modern-day football industry - and it has won numerous film awards internationally. Erik’s other previous film & television credits include: the role of ‘Christoffer‘ in the hugely successful crime series THE BRIDGE; ‘Mats’ in REBECKA MARTINSSON; MORDEN I SANDHAMN; as ‘Pinnen’ in the family drama MIN BROR KOLLOKUNGEN; the lead role of ‘Karl Berg’ in Ulrika Bengts’ feature film DISCIPLE, and also the role of ‘Albert’ in Bengts’ historical drama IRIS. Erik can currently be seen opposite Noomi Rapace in the Netflix existential thriller BLACK CRAB.
