LUBOV AKSENOVA

 

Lubov’s breakthrough role was as the ditzy student in Mikhail Segal’s exceptionally sharp film SHORT STORIES, which won Best Film at the Dublin Film Festival. Since then, Lubov has shown herself to be one of Russia’s most versatile, talented and in-demand actresses with leading roles in the feature films SCHOOL FRIENDS, MOTHERLAND, MOSCOW NEVER SLEEPS, ZA GRANUYU, BYVSHIE, BEYOND THE EDGE, and as ‘Ksyusha’ in THE PERFECT ONES, and in KOMA, directed by Nikita Argunov. Lubov’s recent work includes: the role of ‘Irina’ in Amazon Prime’s thriller JACK RYAN; ‘Natalya Polyakova’ in SODERZHANKI; the drama series GAMES PEOPLE PLAY; the comedies GULYAY, VASYA 2 and Mikhail Segal’s DEEPER; as ‘Yulia Pchelkina’ in MAYOR GROM, which was directed by Oleg Trofim; and playing the role of ‘Vika’ in the drama series THE DOLLS.
