YURI KOLOKOLNIKOV

 

Multi-award winning Russian actor, Yuri Kolokolnikov first came to international prominence when he was cast as ‘Styr’ in GAME OF THRONES. Since then, he has worked continuously on high profile projects in both Russian and English. Yuri played the role of ‘Borodin’ in “Stratton”; ‘Oleg’ in HUNTER KILLER; and ‘Ivan’ in THE HITMAN’S BODYGUARD. He also portrayed the series regular role of 'Gennadi Bystrov' in the Emmy Award-winning drama THE AMERICANS. Yuri’s recent work includes: VIY 2: JOURNEY TO CHINA alongside Rutger Hauer and Jackie Chan; and opposite Ryan Reynolds in Michael Bay’s action thriller 6 UNDERGROUND, which was written by Rhett Reese & Paul Wernick. He also stars in PETROV’S FLU which was directed by the celebrated Russian director, Kirill Serebrennikov, and which premiered in main competition at Cannes Film Festival. Yuri played the key role of ‘Volkov’ in the feature film TENET by acclaimed writer-director Christopher Nolan.
